"Super Healthy Citrus Smoothie
Serves 3-4, adjust according to preference

Want something light, sweet, refreshing yet extremely nutritious? This smoothie is the perfect elixir to fight the common cold, beat the tropical heat yet still be the favorite of the whole family, including our little ones.

Ingredients: 
x6 kiat kiat, peeled, halved
½ lemon, peeled
x2 slices (180 g) pineapple, peeled, halved
x1 cup (125 g) frozen mango chunks
x2 cups (260 g) ice cubes
½ cup honey (optional)
1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)

How to prepare:
1. Place all ingredients onto a blender, in order and secure the lid.
2. Start the blender at its lowest speed and quickly increase to its highest speed.
3. Blend for 1 minute or until desired consistency is reached. Serve immediately.

For those suffering from GERD or hyperacidity, do not consume this on an empty stomach, but as part of a meal/dessert

Green tip (specific to oranges and lemons)
Use the citrus peels to create your own home enzyme cleaner! To do this:
1. Mix 1 part vinegar +1 part water + essential oils of choice + orange and lemon peels and seal shut in an airtight jar or container. 
2. After two weeks, transfer to a spray bottle and use it to clean kitchen counters, appliances, windows and even use it as a bathroom deodorizer/cleaner.
3. Alternately, you can boil the entire mixture to make your home smell fresh and clean.
