"Today, learn to make a rich, creamy, and warm Filipino dessert that looks as good as it smells. A perfect go-to snack for the rainy season. The best part is, that it's also vegan. Ingredients: x3 cups coconut milk (canned or fresh) x2 cups water x1/2 cup glutinous rice x1 cup gabi, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes x2 cups ube, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes x2 cups sweet potato, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes x2 cups saba bananas, peeled and cubed x1 cup cooked sago x1 cup jackfruit strips x1/2 cup brown sugar Preparation 1. In a pot over medium heat, combine coconut milk and water. Bring to a simmer. 2. Add glutinous rice and cook, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes. 3. Add gabi, ube, and sweet potato. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 15 to 20 minutes or until tender. 4. Add saba bananas, sago, jackfruit, and sugar. Stir to combine. 5. Continue to cook for about 8 to 10 minutes or until rice, tubers, and fruits are completely cooked and the liquid begins to thicken. 6. Serve hot in a bowl."
